Welcome to Windkiss Cavalier King Charles Spaniels! I am a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breeder since 2008. We are located just outside of NW Chicago. I have been showing and breeding dogs since 1982. First, English Cocker Spaniels and Polish Lowland Sheepdogs, later Shiba Inu, and finally Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. This effectively saw the emergence of the Cavalier King Charles (the old type) as a separate variety from the King Charles. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club was formed in 1928 but The Kennel Club did not recognise the Cavalier as a separate breed until 1945. Read the breed standard. EEygva.
